Global oil prices have fallen again amid the resumption of Saudi Arabia’s East-West oil pipeline and growing hopes for talks between Iran and the United States at the United Nations.
Al Jazeera reported Wednesday, September 23, that the two developments have affected oil trading in global markets.
According to the report, Brent crude futures fell by 7 cents, or 0.07 percent, to $99.18 per barrel.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also fell by 35 cents, or 0.39 percent, to $90.17 per barrel.
The decline came as Saudi Arabia began restoring crude oil flows through a key pipeline leading to the Red Sea.
Meanwhile, hopes have also increased for a diplomatic solution to the dispute between the United States and Iran through talks at the United Nations in New York.
