The international conference “Hague Justice Dialogues 2026” was held with a focus on defending the rights of war victims, ensuring access to justice, and promoting accountability for human rights violations.

The conference took place on Thursday, October 15, in The Hague, the Netherlands, bringing together legal experts, diplomats, human rights activists, journalists and international relations specialists from various countries.

Discussions covered accountability for war crimes, victims’ access to justice, documentation of human rights violations, protection of civilians, and the human and economic consequences of war.

The role of diplomacy in preventing conflicts was another key topic.

Participants also discussed the role of the media in protecting the truth during wartime, the rights of women and children, displacement crises, transitional justice, and the need for peace and reconciliation after conflicts.

Held under the slogan “Justice, Peace and Human Dignity,” the conference emphasized strengthening international cooperation to defend the rights of war victims and ensure accountability for human rights violations.

The event was organized by the International Criminal Law Foundation (SIS) and brought together legal experts, diplomats, human rights activists, journalists and international relations specialists from around the world.
