Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has once again claimed that India is using terrorist groups based in Afghanistan against Pakistan.
In an interview with a private media outlet on Tuesday, November 18, Asif said that India supports terrorist groups to undermine Pakistan’s peace process.
According to him, Islamabad continues to face terrorism due to the presence of such groups inside Afghanistan.
He also noted that India “cannot afford the risk of war with Pakistan.”
Asif’s remarks come amid heightened military tensions with the Taliban and Pakistan’s recent airstrikes in Kabul and Paktika.
