Hamdullah Fitrat, the Taliban’s spokesperson, has announced that 135 migrant families, comprising 613 people, returned to Afghanistan yesterday.
In a statement on Sunday, September 27, Fitrat said that 22 families, comprising 120 people, entered the country through the Torkham crossing in Nangarhar.
According to the Taliban, 20 families, comprising 120 people, returned to Afghanistan through the Spin Boldak crossing in Kandahar.
The statement said that 83 families, comprising 358 people, returned to the country through the Silk Bridge crossing in Nimroz.
Additionally, 20 families, comprising 81 people, entered Afghanistan through the Islam Qala border crossing in Herat.
