The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has described the Taliban’s treatment of prisoners of war and political prisoners as “inhumane and contrary to human rights standards” and strongly condemned it.
On Sunday, September 27, the front expressed its appreciation for all civil resistance movements, women’s movements, political activists, and, in particular, the “fighters of the Afghanistan Freedom Front.”
The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan once again declared its support for and solidarity with “all those fighting for Afghanistan’s freedom and dignity.”
The front also called on international human rights organizations and influential Islamic countries to prevent the further “institutionalization of a culture of terror, repression, and fear in Afghanistan.”
