The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan alleges that following an offensive by their forces on a Taliban military base in Parwan province, two Taliban fighters were killed, and two others sustained injuries.
A credible source, choosing to remain anonymous, provided a videotape to Hasht-e Subh Daily, outlining that the attack transpired on the night of Saturday, December 30th, above a Taliban outpost in the “Pol-e Mullah Habib” region of the Sayed Khil district.
According to the source, both light and heavy weapons were deployed in this operation.
Residents in the vicinity also reported hearing the sounds of engagement in the area, but they remain uncertain about the exact casualties resulting from the confrontation.
To date, the Taliban have not issued any statements regarding this incident.
In recent months, armed offensives by anti-Taliban resistance groups against the positions of this group have intensified across various parts of the country.
On December 24th, the forces of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan also launched an assault on the administrative building of the Sayed Khil district in Parwan province.
