The National Resistance Front has confirmed that two of its commanders were killed by the Taliban in Baghlan province.
In a statement published on X on Sunday, August 30, the front said that the two commanders were killed in a Taliban ambush.
According to the statement, the National Resistance Front identified the two commanders as Commander Shamsuddin and Commander Baba.
The front said that the commanders had been involved in the resistance against the Taliban under difficult conditions over the past five years.
This comes after the Taliban had previously reported that four members of the National Resistance Front were killed in the Charsai area of Nahrin district in Baghlan province.
