The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has emphasized the importance of Afghan families having access to food and healthcare services.
On Saturday, October 24, marking the 81st anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, OCHA said it was supporting families across Afghanistan in cooperation with its humanitarian partners.
The office added that these efforts aim to help families cope with crises and improve their living conditions.
OCHA stressed that access to food, healthcare services, and humanitarian assistance can help families withstand hardships.
This comes as ongoing economic and humanitarian crises, the large-scale return of migrants, and the effects of climate change have made living conditions increasingly difficult for millions of people in Afghanistan.
