Oil prices fell by more than one percent amid growing expectations that the United States will impose new sanctions on Iran.
Al Jazeera reported on Monday, August 24, that Brent crude futures fell by more than one percent to $93.45 per barrel.
US crude oil futures also fell by more than one percent, trading at $86.14 per barrel.
Developments related to US policy toward Iran and the possibility of new sanctions are among the factors affecting fluctuations in the oil market.
