
Iran Expels Over 61,000 Afghan Refugees in Last Month
On Thursday, local sources in Nimruz province reported that over 61,000 Afghan refugees have been expelled from Iran or voluntarily returned to Afghanistan in the past month.
According to local sources, 61,343 Afghan refugees have entered Afghanistan through Nimruz province during the current month.
The sources claim that a significant number of these refugees were forcibly expelled from Iran.
Information from the sources indicate that the number of Afghan Refugees expelled from Iran during the month of March was double that of the previous month.
Statistics show that in the last month, 37,193 Afghan migrants were expelled from Iran and entered the country through the Nimruz border.
It is worth mentioning that the expulsion and voluntary return of Afghan Refugees from Iran is ongoing without interruption on a daily basis.
