Pakistani security sources have claimed that they recovered a quantity of Afghan banknotes from four people killed and described by the sources as “terrorists.”
Dawn reported on Monday night, September 28, that four people were killed by Pakistani security forces in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, on allegations of links to terrorism.
According to the report, the sources claimed that weapons, ammunition, and Afghan banknotes were recovered from the individuals.
Pakistan identified the individuals as members of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The Pakistani government claims that terrorist attacks in the country are planned from inside Afghanistan by groups supported by the Taliban and then carried out in Pakistan.
However, the Taliban has repeatedly rejected Pakistan’s claims in this regard.
