Attaullah Tarar, Pakistan’s Minister of Information, has claimed that in the continuation of Operation “Ghazab-ul-Haq,” 481 Taliban fighters were killed in Afghanistan and more than 696 others were wounded.
Tarar wrote on Wednesday, March 4, on his X account that during this operation, 226 Taliban outposts were destroyed and 35 other outposts belonging to the group were captured.
He added that the strikes also inflicted heavy losses on the Taliban, with 198 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery equipment belonging to the group destroyed.
This comes as the Taliban had announced the previous day that 110 people, including women and children, were killed as a result of clashes with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) also announced that as a result of Pakistan’s strikes on Afghanistan, 42 civilians were killed and 104 civilians were wounded.
