Kabul – Local Taliban officials have inaugurated a township to the vulnerable people due to the natural disasters and recent wars in the Qazi Qishlaq village, Drayam district of Badakhshan province.
The township has been built for the 103 vulnerable families by the USAID and ACTED agency collaborations.
Taliban officials have named the township “Nasrat”.

“The township has been built at a cost of $267,800 on more than 45 acres of land, with each shelter consisting of two rooms, a vestibule, a bathroom, and a toilet,” Taliban officials said.
It is worth mentioning that 23% percent of the local people took part in the construction of the township whose land had been bought by the former government.
Badakhshan is one of the provinces whose residents have suffered a lot of problems due to natural disasters and recent wars.
