The Taliban have announced that 210 families, comprising 966 Afghan migrants, returned to Afghanistan the previous day.
Hamdullah Fitrat, spokesperson for the Taliban, said in a statement on Thursday, October 8, that 33 families, comprising 192 people, entered Afghanistan through the Torkham border crossing.
According to the statement, 126 families, comprising 559 people, also returned to Afghanistan through the Silk Bridge, while 23 families, comprising 80 people, entered through the Islam Qala border crossing.
Another 28 families, comprising 135 people, entered the country through the Spin Boldak crossing.
