The Taliban say that Pakistani aircraft have bombed parts of Kandahar province, including a refugee camp.
On Saturday, 28 February, Hamdullah Fetrat, deputy spokesperson of the Taliban, stated that Pakistani planes bombed the Takhta Pol area of Kandahar province in the morning.
According to Fetrat, the refugee camp was targeted, resulting in three deaths and seven injuries.
He also added that Pakistani forces, using long-range artillery, targeted the center of Kunar province last night, with shells hitting civilian homes.
According to him, seven civilians, including women and children, were killed, and one other person was injured in this attack.
The Taliban official further said that in Naray district, one woman was killed and three others were injured due to mortar fire.
The Taliban also reported yesterday that 19 civilians were killed and 26 others injured in Khost and Paktika provinces.
Meanwhile, the United Nations has expressed concern over the tensions between the Taliban and Pakistan and has called for the protection of civilians.
