The United Front of Afghanistan has claimed that one Taliban fighter was killed and another wounded in an attack on the group in Ghor province.
The group said early Thursday, October 8, in a post on its X account that the attack was carried out against the Taliban in Pasaband district of Ghor.
According to the United Front’s claim, its forces attacked a “Taliban police” outpost on Wednesday night.
The claim comes as the United Front has also reported carrying out guerrilla operations against the Taliban in Kandahar and Helmand provinces in recent days.
Meanwhile, attacks by groups opposed to the Taliban have increased in various parts of Afghanistan in recent months.
