US Republican Senator Dave McCormick has voiced support for Donald Trump’s war against Iran.
On Monday, October 19, McCormick accused the Iranian government of being involved in the killing of Americans and claimed that Tehran is seeking to acquire nuclear weapons.
McCormick said Trump had made a difficult and courageous decision to confront the threat.
“The Iranian leaders now face two choices: either abandon their nuclear ambitions or face continued economic and military pressure,” McCormick added.
The United States and Iran have long-standing disagreements over Tehran’s nuclear program and the country’s regional role.
McCormick is a supporter of Trump’s policy toward Iran.
His support for US military action against Iran comes as tensions between Washington and Tehran over Iran’s nuclear program continue.
