Kabul – A number of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) employees have said that they haven’t been paid for the last three months.
One of the employees who did not want to be named told Hashte Subh Daily on Sunday, (October 31) that most staff of the Breshna Sherkat have faced a severe economic challenge because of nonpayment.
They have many payment problems including, house rent, daily expenses, carfare, water bill, and electricity bill, as reported.
So far, we have protested twice, but no one has said anything when we would be paid, the employee stated.
The company employees with their last protest have decided that if we wouldn’t be paid within three days, they wouldn’t be present to their work which it would disrupt the electricity system in the country.
Meanwhile, many government and private organizations staff have lost their jobs since the Taliban takeover.
