Kabul – The Interior Ministry of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan says three people, including a former police officer, have been killed in personal hostilities.
“The men were killed in a clash between two families in the Paktiakut district of Kabul’s ninth district,” said Qari Saeed Khosty, Interior Ministry’s spokesman in a tweet today, Saturday, December 11.
Saeed Khosty named a former police officer Abdul Ghaffar Hotak, adding that the former soldier was killed yesterday by the sons of a person named Kajir Khan after a verbal argument, and after the incident, the sons of the police officer killed Kajir Khan’s two sons to avenge their father.
However, Saeed Khosty confirmed that the case is under investigation.
Khosty, however, has pointed out that these cases occur in most cities of the country and some give it a political color, stressing that the Taliban haven’t killed anyone and haven’t prosecuted anyone since the amnesty.
Meanwhile, Human Rights Watch recently reported that the Taliban was torturing former soldiers. In some provinces, the agency found evidence that the Taliban had killed more than 100 soldiers after a general amnesty.
