The National Resistance Front (NRF) claims that 3 Taliban members were killed and 2 others were injured in an aggression launched by its forces on a Taliban camp in Kapisa province in north of Kabul.
A reliable source among NRF fighters confirmed to Hasht-e Subh on Wednesday, January 25, saying that the offensive was carried out around 12:30 on Tuesday night on a Taliban camp in the Khwaja-ha Bridge area of Kohistan’s 2nd district.
The source detailed that no NRF forces were harmed in this skirmish.
Locals have also confirmed the occurrence of gunfighting in this vicinity in the 2nd district of Kohistan. The Taliban, however, have not immediately commented on this clash.
In the past one year, Taliban camps in Khwaja-ha bridge area of Kohistan’s 2nd district of Kapisa has been the target of numerous attacks carried out by the NRF – the most prominent armed group that fiercely fought the Taliban since the extremists reclaimed power in Afghanistan on August 15, 2021.
