Some Afghan girls who were deprived of education after the Taliban returned to power in 2021 are continuing their studies at a secret school.
CBS News reported on Monday, September 7, that the girls are studying in secret to maintain their reading and writing skills despite fears of arrest and punishment.
According to the report, the girls hope that one day they will be able to return to formal schools and continue their education without fear.
The ban on secondary education for girls remains one of the most significant restrictions imposed on women and girls in Afghanistan.
