The Afghanistan Freedom Front has claimed that four Taliban fighters were killed or wounded in an attack on a Taliban checkpoint in Kabul.
The front said in a statement on Thursday, September 17, that its forces attacked a Taliban checkpoint in Sarai-e Shomali at around 8:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to the statement, two Taliban fighters were killed and two others were wounded in the attack.
The Afghanistan Freedom Front said the attack took place as concerns over the security situation in Afghanistan continue.
The front also said concerns among regional countries and Afghanistan’s neighbors over the spread of terrorism and extremism have brought security officials from some countries to Kabul.
