The Afghanistan United Front has announced that one Taliban member was killed in an operation in Tagab district of Kapisa province.

In a statement on Wednesday, October 28, the front said the Taliban member, named Mullah Samar Gul, was targeted in the Maligar area of Dara Nama, in Tagab district.

According to the statement, Mullah Samar Gul was a member of the Taliban’s police force.

This comes as anti-Taliban fronts have also carried out activities against the group in parts of the country since the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan.
