“Anthology of Contemporary Afghan Poetry” was Published in Arabic

8 Subh; Kabul: the book ‘Anthology of Contemporary Afghan Poetry’ was published in Arabic by Al-madi Beirut publications and translated by the poet and the Iraqi translator, Maryam Al- Attar .

The book is 300 pages and contains 35 Afghan poets.

The poets whose poetry and pieces of their work are covered in this book include, Partoo Nadari, Laila Sarahat Roshani, Abu Talib Muzafari, Mohammad Sharif Sayedi, Qanbar Ali Tabesh, Zia Qasimi, Mahboba Ibrahimi, Baran Sajadi and Shokria Erfan.

Also Atif Hussaini, Hafizullah Shariati Sahar, Aman Boyamak, Fatema Roshan, Rahmia Mirzayi, Zahra Zahidi, Masooma Ahmadi, Ilias Alawi, Maral Tahiri, Raihana Akhondzada, Maryam Turkmani, Salma Sharifi, Mujib Mehrdad, Yasin Niga, Aman Mirzayi, Hussain Ibrahimi, Waheed Bakats, Karima Shabrank, Hakim Alipor, Hossain Rezayi, Sada Sultani, Maryam Hatef, Masooma Musawi, Hadi Hazara, Mehdi Sarbaz and Zainab Hossaini are among the other poets covered in the Anthology of Contemporary Afghan Poets.
