Local sources in Kapisa report armed attacks on Taliban base in this province.
On Saturday, November 5, local sources, speaking to Hasht-e Subh said that the attack was carried out at around 1:30 on Friday, November 5 on Abdul Latif Murad’s residence who was the ex governor of Kapisa. Taliban have sieged his house and use it as military base that was under the attack.
The sources have not said anything about the casualties and the perpetrators of this attack, but the Afghanistan Liberation Front has claimed responsibility for this attack.
ALF has published a video tape and a newsletter claiming that eight Taliban fighters have been killed and six others are injured following an offensive attack by the forces of this front on a Taliban camp in the Pol-e Mirwais area of Heseh Dowom district of Kohistan, Kapisa province.
According to the newsletter, this conflict continued for about an hour and after that a part of the Taliban camp was also set on fire.
The Taliban have not yet said anything about this attack.
This is despite the fact that last week the Freedom Front had attacked the positions of the Taliban in Kapisa province which caused Taliban to tolerated and suffer casualties.
