Local sources in Takhar have reported a horrifying incident in which a 23-year-old young man fell victim to a brutal act by robbers in the province.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night, December 4th, in the village of “Merza-Bchah Siyab” in the Bangi district of Takhar province.
Sources, in conversation with Hasht-e Subh Daily, confirmed that the robbers entered a house in the Bangi district during the night. They first fatally attacked a young man named Abdulwakil with knife blows and then proceeded to decapitate him.
According to the sources, Abdulwakil met his tragic fate after identifying the intruders.
It is further stated that after killing Abdulwakil, the robbers took a cash amount of 100,000 Afghanis with them.
Abdulwakil was a shopkeeper and had no personal enmity with anyone.
As of now, the Taliban have not made any statements regarding this incident.
It is noteworthy that, in recent months, armed robberies in Takhar have seen an unprecedented increase.
On June 23 of this year, armed robbers also beheaded a shopkeeper in Takhar.
