The Taliban Ministry of Public Health says it has held talks and reached agreements with Belarus on expanding health cooperation, importing medicines and medical equipment, and enhancing the capacity of health workers.
The Taliban Ministry of Public Health said in a statement on Tuesday, September 29, that the issues were discussed during a meeting between Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali, the Taliban’s Minister of Public Health, and Hudzhaiev Alexander, Belarus’s Minister of Health.
According to the statement, the two sides also emphasized the exchange of professional experiences as well as scientific and research information during the meeting.
Belarus’s Minister of Health said his country is ready to expand its cooperation with the Taliban in the areas of medicines, medical equipment, capacity building for health workers, and the exchange of professional and scientific experiences.
