Five Miners Killed in Mine Collapse in Takhar

Local sources in Takhar say five miners were killed after a mine collapsed in Chah Ab district of the province.

Sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Saturday, October 3, that the incident occurred at a mine in Samti village in Chah Ab district.

According to the sources, the victims were residents of Qandari Qashlaqi village in Yangi Qala district of Takhar.

The sources added that the miners’ bodies were handed over to their families on Saturday.
