The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has announced that it distributed post-harvest equipment to 150 farmers in Panjshir province to help them protect their crops.
The organization said in a post on X on Wednesday, August 26, that the equipment included metal silos, wheat harvesting machines, tarpaulins and sealed bags for storing crops.
According to the ICRC, the farmers also received training on reducing post-harvest losses and making better use of the distributed equipment.
The organization emphasized that the assistance was provided with the aim of reducing agricultural crop losses and improving post-harvest storage practices.
