Mohsen Rezaei, an adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, says Iran will never allow the opening of a second corridor in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a post on X early on August 4, Rezaei said Tehran would not tolerate the continuation of the maritime blockade.

Rezaei warned that if the maritime blockade continues, U.S. vessels and forces would face serious risks and casualties.

He also said the United States must change its behavior in the region.

Iran’s armed forces had previously warned that the continuation of the maritime blockade would be considered an extension of the war.

Meanwhile, the U.S. military has reiterated its maritime blockade of Iran and reported that dozens of vessels have altered their routes in recent days.
