Kabul – Some Iranian media outlets have reported that Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the president’s special representative to Afghanistan, has traveled to Kabul to meet with the Taliban.
Hassan Kazemi Qomi came to Kabul today (Monday, November 15), as IRIB news agency quoted by the Iranian Embassy in Kabul.
The Iranian envoy for Afghanistan will discuss with the Taliban officials.
According to the embassy, Qomi will meet with Taliban officials to discuss regional issues, refugees, humanitarian aid, the formation of an inclusive government and other economic issues.
Qomi’s trip had been earlier reported by the Iranian media outlets.
