Israeli forces have issued evacuation warnings for residents of 20 towns and villages in southern Lebanon, urging them to leave their homes immediately.
Al Jazeera reported on Saturday, June 13, that the Israeli army has instructed residents of these areas to relocate north of the Zahrani River.
According to the report, the evacuation warnings include Deir al-Zahrani, al-Namirieh, al-Sharquieh, al-Dewayr, Harouf, and Habboush.
Kfarjoz, Zibdine (Nabatieh), Nabatieh al-Tahta, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Rouman, Al-Mahmoudieh, Sajed (Jezzine), Reihan, Aaramta, Kfarchouba, and several other areas have also received urgent evacuation warnings from the Israeli army.
Israel has previously issued similar evacuation orders for various areas in southern Lebanon.
In recent days, the Israeli army has said it is expanding its operations in southern Lebanon.
This comes as Israeli and Lebanese delegations in Washington have agreed on extending a ceasefire.
However, Iran has stated that a ceasefire in Lebanon is one of its conditions for continuing peace negotiations with the United States.
