The Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate has reported 108 cases of violence by Israeli forces against journalists in July.

Al Jazeera reported early Monday, August 10, that the violence against journalists included arrests, beatings, and preventing them from covering events.

According to the report, arrests and restrictions on news coverage accounted for the largest share, with 58 cases. They were followed by 12 cases involving exposure to sound and gas bombs, 11 settler attacks, and six cases of beatings.

The report said four journalists sustained bloody injuries, including shrapnel wounds, while covering events in Gaza.
