Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that despite the recent agreement between the United States and Iran, Israel’s struggle has not ended.
Speaking at a press conference with Israeli journalists on Monday, June 15, Netanyahu claimed that the joint US-Israel war against Iran had saved Israel from what he described as the threat of “nuclear annihilation.”
He added that even after the agreement between Tehran and Washington, Israel’s objectives have not been fully achieved and the country will continue its efforts.
The Israeli prime minister did not provide further details about what he meant by continuing the struggle.
Netanyahu’s remarks come as the recent US-Iran agreement has been welcomed by several regional and international actors, who view it as a step toward reducing tensions and opening the door to further negotiations.
