Dawn

Pakistani police have said that a stampede at the henna ceremony of a TikTok personality in Sialkot, Punjab province, has left one person dead and more than 13 injured.

Dawn reported on Saturday night, October 31, that the incident occurred the previous night during an award-giving ceremony at the event in Sialkot.

According to the report, the ceremony was held for Muhammad Ansar Jutt, a popular Pakistani TikTok personality known as “Mr. Patlo.”

Sialkot police said a severe crush occurred when organizers opened the stadium gates to allow attendees to enter, causing many people to fall to the ground.

Among the injured was a 30-year-old man who died while being taken to hospital due to the severity of his condition.

However, some people who were present when the crowd surge occurred put the number of injured at more than 40.
