Pakistan Launches Air Strikes on TTP Strongholds in Eastern Afghanistan’s Nangarhar

Pakistani forces launched an air strike on TTP strongholds in Nangarhar province, following repeated warnings from both Taliban-Pakistan governments.

Sources in Nangarhar on Thursday morning, January 5, said that Pakistani fighters bombed targets in Salala neighborhood in the vicinity of Gushta district.

The government of Pakistan and the Taliban have not yet officially commented on this matter.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s National Security Council (NSC) decided three days ago that the country’s forces should adopt a zero-tolerance policy against terrorists.
