Polio-Free Afghanistan has called on parents to have their children vaccinated during the Multi-Antigen Administration Campaign (MAAC).
The organisation said on Monday, August 10, that several types of vaccines would be administered to children during the campaign to protect them against dangerous diseases.
Polio-Free Afghanistan urged parents to take children who have not received any vaccines so far, or who have missed one of their vaccine doses, to health centres for vaccination.
During the campaign, children will receive oral polio, inactivated polio, measles, pentavalent, pneumonia and diarrhoea vaccines based on their age and needs.
Previously, Polio-Free Afghanistan had also urged families to cooperate with health workers so that all eligible children could receive the vaccines they need.
