The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has announced that it supports seven physical rehabilitation centres in Afghanistan, which provide rehabilitation services to people with disabilities.
The organisation said on Sunday, October 4, that more than 105,000 people with disabilities benefited from rehabilitation services and assistance provided by these centres from January to June 2026.
The ICRC has supported physical rehabilitation centres in Afghanistan in recent years.
These centres provide rehabilitation services, physiotherapy, and assistive devices to people with disabilities, including those who have acquired disabilities as a result of war, accidents, and illnesses.
