Russia’s Ministry of Defense has announced that its armed forces carried out a large-scale overnight strike targeting a communications center and energy facilities supporting Ukraine’s military industry in Kyiv.
The TASS news agency reported on Wednesday, September 30, that Russia’s Ministry of Defense said the strikes were carried out using precision-guided ground-launched weapons and long-range attack drones.
The Russian Defense Ministry said a data center in Kyiv was also targeted. It described the facility as a major center for processing, storing, and transmitting information used by the Ukrainian military.
Russia also said its forces used aerial bombs to target a drone command center and a location where Ukrainian forces were stationed in the Kharkiv region.
The Russian Defense Ministry did not provide further details on the extent of the damage caused by the strikes.
