The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen has said it destroyed a ballistic missile launch platform in Sana’a, the Yemeni capital, and a Houthi missile depot in the Saada region.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported late Monday, October 6, that coalition spokesperson Turki al-Maliki made the announcement.

According to the report, the destroyed Houthi ballistic missile depot in Saada contained zero missiles.

The Saudi-led coalition recently announced the launch of a major operation to retake areas that the Houthis had recently seized.

Meanwhile, fighting between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis has intensified sharply in recent weeks, with the group also carrying out attacks on Saudi oil refineries.
