Lebanese media outlets have reported that Israeli airstrikes in various areas of southern Lebanon killed seven people and injured several others.
The state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported on Monday, May 25, that an airstrike on the Mashghara area killed five people and wounded several others. Rescue teams were also forced to pull survivors from beneath the rubble of targeted homes.
In a separate strike in the Kouthariyet El Saiyad area, two people were killed and two others were injured.
Israeli fighter jets also carried out two consecutive strikes on the city of Nabatieh. Two additional attacks targeted the areas of Shamaa and Rashaf in the Bint Jbeil district.
