Local sources say drones are flying at low altitudes over Khost province.

The sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Saturday, September 5, that the drones have been seen over several districts as well as the provincial capital of Khost.

According to the sources, it is unclear which country the drones belong to, but local residents claim that they are Pakistani.

This comes as there have also been reports in recent months of drones patrolling the skies over Khost, Paktia, and Paktika provinces.

The sources said the drones appear several days a week, and Taliban fighters sometimes fire into the air at them.
