Local sources say Taliban fighters and Pakistani forces have clashed again at the Torkham border crossing.
Sources told the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Sunday, November 1, that the clashes began around noon at the crossing.
According to the sources, staff from humanitarian organizations have left the area following the fighting.
The Taliban have also evacuated a camp for migrants deported from Pakistan, removing returnees from the site.
Sources said the clashes began after Taliban fighters attempted to establish a checkpoint near the Torkham crossing but faced opposition from Pakistani forces.
This is the third clash between the Taliban and Pakistani forces at Torkham in the past week.
