U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have discussed the possibility of resuming military strikes against Iran.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, October 31, citing informed sources, that the phone call took place on Friday morning.
According to the report, the conversation came as the United States was planning to resume military strikes against Iran.
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Trump preferred a diplomatic solution to the conflict with Iran, but Washington also had the military capability to achieve its objectives.
This comes as Iran’s chief of staff of the armed forces has warned the United States and Israel that any attack on Iran would be met with a massive and “unimaginable” response.
