Taliban Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Minister Ataullah Omari has traveled to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to attend the Global Technical Forum of Landlocked Countries.
The Taliban Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock said in a statement on Wednesday, October 7, that the forum will be held in Tashkent on October 7 and 8.
According to the statement, the forum will discuss food security and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Omari is also expected to hold talks on the sidelines of the meeting with Uzbek officials and representatives of participating countries on expanding cooperation in agriculture, irrigation, livestock, trade and investment.
