According to sources, in recent days, the Taliban have arrested several officials and security personnel of the former government in Samangan.
Recently, Mollah Hafiz, the former adviser of the Supreme Council of National Reconciliation and the district governor of Khorram Sarbagh district of Samangan, has been arrested by the Taliban intelligence forces.
On Thursday, November 10, local sources, speaking to Hasht-e Subh said that Taliban intelligence forces arrested Mullah Hafiz from Kabul city and have taken him to Samangan.
So far, the reason for his arrest by the Taliban intelligence forces has not been clarified.
Meanwhile, there is no news about the fate of several officials and former soldiers in Samangan province who have been arrested by the Taliban.
In recent days, the Taliban have arrested Haji Kabir, the director of Khorram Sarbagh district security, and three other former employees of the national security in Samangan.
Taliban have not been committed to any promise they have made to the people and international community. The employees, particularly the members of the security forces of the former government have been the primary targets of the Taliban across the country. They have tortured, humiliated, killed and taken away with no clear fate.
