Sources in Kandahar report that the Taliban Morality Police have expelled women from dental clinics in the province.
On Wednesday, September 24, sources said the Taliban ordered clinics to ensure that women are no longer treated by male dentists.
The sources added that Taliban officials are now monitoring dental clinics and female patients, placing the treatment process under their control.
Previously, reports had already highlighted restrictions on women’s access to hospitals, clinics, and other health facilities. These restrictions have now been extended to dental services as well.
