Local sources say a civilian has been killed by a Taliban fighter in Laghman province.
Sources confirmed to the Hasht-e Subh Daily on Wednesday, October 7, that a shopkeeper in the “Omarzai area” in the provincial capital was shot dead following a verbal altercation with a Taliban intelligence fighter.
According to the sources, the Taliban intelligence fighter continues to move around freely after killing the man and has so far not been pursued.
This comes as a Taliban fighter in Kabul province’s Sarobi district also killed a civilian in a similar incident some time ago.
