The Taliban Ministry of Finance has rejected reports of delays in paying the salaries of civilian and military employees of institutions under the group’s control, describing them as rumors.
The ministry said on Monday, October 26, that salaries of government employees would be paid on time as usual and without any problems.
Earlier, several media outlets had reported that the Taliban had postponed salary payments to civilian and military employees under its control until further notice.
This comes as employees of institutions under Taliban control have repeatedly complained about delays in receiving their salaries.
