Taliban’s Brutal Crackdown Continues: Former Military Officer Arrested in Nimruz Province

According to local sources in Takhar Province, Taliban intelligence has arrested a former military officer in Nimruz Province.

Sources on Friday, May 5, report that the officer’s name is Salahuddin Sattari, and he is a resident of the Worsaj district in Takhar Province.

Sources say that the Taliban arrested him when he entered from Nimruz into Takhar Province and was headed towards his home.

The sources have stated that this young man had sought refuge in Iran after the collapse of the previous regime and was working as a laborer there.

Salahuddin worked as an officer in the Ministry of Defense of the previous government.

It should be noted that the Taliban have repeatedly detained, tortured, and in some cases killed former military personnel in various provinces.
